About Ulrich Tausend:

I am researching and working with games.


Work:

In 2000 I co-founded the online casual games company Neokolor/Neodelight.com which we sold January 2008 to the Indian company 7Seas Technologies (personal comments, official press release). I am now a freelancing consultant and games researcher. One of my clients is the german online gaming website www.fettspielen.de which is supported by the internatinal Holtzbrink group (more on Fettspielen). I also worked as "Research Manager" for remote control productions.


Research:

I am interested in how demographics like age and gender affect game preference. I conducted a quantitative survey as part of my diploma thesis at the Ludwigs Maximillians Universität in Munich on this topic. Read more about it here.
